Those Look Like Some Gnarly Chippies…
If you’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting the St. Louis area, you know our local brands are legendary. The same could be said for the best barbeque chip this side of the Mississippi, Old Vienna’s Red Hot Riplets.
These commercials were made on spec for portfolio purposes. I wanted to play up the comedic effect, as the brand is already incredibly fun-loving and ubiquitous with parties, sporting events, and anywhere snacks are served. We filmed at Stage 27 Studios in St. Louis with an all-STL (save one!) cast and crew. From a producing perspective, I’m particularly proud of the fact that we were able to film all of these in two days (prep day and principle photography). We intentionally chose Stage 27 due to their turnkey advantages, and unique looks.
